What is a Fun Casino?
Red & Black Casinos bring all the glitz and glamour of a casino to your event without the fear of your guests gambling their savings away! Guests are provided fun money that they exchange for chips on one of Red & Black Casinos authentic full-size fun casino tables and are free to gamble for the duration of the fun casino. For those who have never played before, their croupier will be happy explaining the rules. There is often a prize for the person who has been able to make the most money within the playtime, this could range from wine and/or chocolates to a weekend away depending on your budget. Alternatively, you can always play for pride and watch your guests competitive streak emerge!
Do you need a licence for a fun casino?
The Gambling Act 2005 allows you to host a fun casino for charitable or non-commercial purposes without a licence. In essence, if you are not playing for real money and any profits made from organising the casino night are given to charity then you won’t need a licence.

What happens if my guests have never played before?
Experience isn’t a problem; Red & Black Casinos croupiers are more than happy to explain the rules to anybody who isn’t sure how to play or needs a quick refresher on the rules! It’s often the case that those who didn’t know how to play when the tables first opened will be explaining the rules to new players as the evening progresses! The croupiers will always be willing to offer hints and tips to ensure your guests make as much money as they can!
Can children get involved?
As no money changes hands at the table, children are not excluded from playing at a Red & Black fun casino. Red & Black Casinos will always check with the event organiser whether they have any objections to children playing. Assuming the organiser is happy for children to get involved the croupiers will then check with the child’s parents before teaching them the rules like any other player!
How many tables is right for my event?
The number of tables required will vary depending on the number of guests you have attending and if there will be any other entertainment taking place alongside your fun casino. For example, if the tables were to run alongside a disco two tables would be okay for around 70 people however if the casino was your only form of entertainment it would be best to opt for three of four tables. Red & Black Casinos would be happy to talk through your ideas and requirements before suggesting the ideal number of tables for your event. What’s included within the hire price?
All Red & Black Casinos include up to three hours play-time, delivery, set-up and removal of the tables, fun money and trained croupiers to deal on the tables and will be tailor made to fit with your requirements.
If you wish to have additional playtime, personalised fun money, venue decorations, prizes etc. as examples simply let Red & Black Casinos know who will only be too pleased to accommodate your requests.
